Patented tamper resistant shutter design on the outlets for an amazingly smooth and easy plug in; provides tamper resistance, not plug resistance
Tamper resistant feature prevents foreign objects from being inserted into outlet openings, blocking access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted; helps ensure that hairpins, keys, etc., will be locked out
Provides branch circuit convenience power
Push-in sockets accept #14 AWG solid copper wire; terminal screws accept up to #12 AWG solid copper wire
Elongated strap with continuous plaster ears to secure device
New face design provides smooth appearance to complement interiors and the convenience of finder grooves
