Product Description

Pass & Seymour IG6300-I ivory isolated ground receptacle. Isolated ground devices have a grounding terminal that is electronically isolated from the strap to eliminate electrical interference (noise) in grounding networks that can cause problems in modern electronics. It is Specification Grade, NEMA 5-20R, 2-pole, 3-wire, isolated ground, back and side wired, 20A 125V. Bulk packed loose with no individual packaging; as a result some may have minor dings. Features include:

Triple-wipe contacts ensure lasting, positive contact with plug blades
IG symbol, and molded-in "Isolated Ground" markings for easy I.D. and circuit delineation
Nylon strap on top eliminates potential contact with isolated ground
Plastic barrier isolates grounding terminal from mounting strap and conduit
Side wired and back wired with internal screw-pressure-plate back wire - accepts #14 - #10 AWG copper or copper-clad or stranded wire
Auto-ground clip assures positive ground
High-impact resistant nylon face resists impacts and scrapes
