Product Description
Bryant 5261REDWR red straight blade single outlet weather resistant receptacle (Bryant is a division of Hubbell). The bright red color is great for locations where you want to call attention to these special outlets: offices, workshops, computer rooms, etc. The single outlet design is good areas where you want to dedicate a receptacle to a specific machine or appliance. Tech-Spec Industrial Specification Grade, NEMA 5-15R, 2-pole, 3-wire, grounding, rated 15A 125V. Each is individually packaged; packaging may differ from photo. Features include:
- Full-face, wraparound design is molded of high-impact, chemical-resistant nylon. Wraparound, full-face design will not come off under stress. Overlapping, thick walled nylon face and base construction is virtually unbreakable. Interior walls isolate and support contacts while overlapping design provides excellent arc and tracking resistance
- Extended barrier (shroud) on sides of cover surround wire terminals for added insulation and isolation of conductors
- Heavy-duty 0.050" steel yoke is wrapped around receptacle and locked in place for maximum mechanical strength and security
- Double-plated yoke (nickel & brass) for superior corrosion resistance
- Back wiring: four wiring pockets for convenient feed thru wiring, clamp-type terminals accept up to #10 wire
- Terminal screws: brass combination Phillips/slotted/Robertson binding head accepts up to #10 wire
- Approved for CU wire only
- Large green, combination Phillips/slotted/Robertson hex head grounding screw
- Back wire ground clamp for quick and convenient wiring
- ID surface on cover for marking clear identification of circuits
- High-performance brass line contacts deliver excellent conductivity for low resistance, low heat rise. Triple-wipe design assures contact at three points on the plug blades. Superior spring properties and the rivetless, one-piece construction provide reliable, long-life blade retention
