Product Description

Cooper TRBR15GY-BXSP gray tamper resistant duplex receptacle outlet. Commercial Specification Grade, NEMA 5-15R, 2-pole, 3-wire, self-grounding, back and side wired, rated 15A 125V. Each is individually packaged; packaging may differ from photo. Features include:

Patented, spring-loaded mechanical shutter system provides reliable tamper resistance
Shutter mechanism inside the receptacle blocks access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, helping ensure hairpins, keys, etc., will be locked out
Tamper Resistant versions provide compliance with 2011 NEC® section 406.12 and provide significantly improved protection over traditional receptacles with removable plastic safety caps
Sturdy, compact design meets the demands of commercial spec grade performance
Excellent plug blade retention provided by triple-wipe 0.032" (0.81mm) triple-wipe brass line contacts and 0.050" (1.27mm) brass ground
High impact and chemical-resistant nylon face
0.035" (0.889mm) galvanized steel, wrap- around yoke mounting strap for superior assembly security; extra length/width helps reach large panel cutouts for Code Compliance
Automatic grounding system eliminates need for bonding jumper in grounded metal enclosure, provides redundant measure of ground continuity where jumper used
