Product Description
Leviton 15D24-C female cam-type detachable plug contact - crimped style. For use with ECT 15 Series taper nose connectors. Can be used to replace damaged contacts or to create custom plugs when paired with Leviton 15 Series Insulating Sleeves. Please note that this is just the contact and does not include the insulating sleeve - check our store for the sleeves. Features of the Series 15 line of products include:
- Rated up to 125A 600V (with proper cabling)
- Cable capacity: #8 to #4 AWG
- Primary applications include carnivals, theme parks, and entertainment related industries
- Intermateable and completely compatible with competitive cam-type products - can be retrofitted to existing locations and power distribution systems
- Locking and reinforcing ring won't melt, break or crack
- Shatter and crack proof - high durometer thermoplastic elastomer(TPE) or neoprene rubber
- Color coded insulating sleeves - fast and easy phase identification
- Prevents arcing or burning - no movement of contact surfaces
- Self compensating for wear - slit and cam in male contact provides spring action for longer usage
- Quick connect/disconnect - twist and pull provided by double cam male and cam button in female
- High conductivity - positive vibration-proof connection provided by double cam design
