Product Description

Bryant/Hubbell FTD10048 cable splicing grip (Bryant is a division of Hubbell). Temporary splice for cable and wire rope, can be used as cable reinforcement and to protect cables and hoses from abrasion, used to replace old wire rope with new wire rope. Features include:

Cable grip range: 1.00-1.49"
Approximate breaking strength: 9,100 pounds
Mesh length: 48"
Closed mesh, double weave
Galvanized steel
Never use grip to approximate breaking strength. Refer to manufacturer specifications for safety and working load factors
Banding is necessary to guard against accidental release of grip and provide maximum reliability.
